Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Search team at Whatnot, you will be instrumental in enhancing the search experience for our users. This role involves a blend of engineering and machine learning skills to improve search algorithms and user interaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance search algorithms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features.
- Analyze and optimize system performance.
- Engage in problem-solving and causal analysis.
- Implement machine learning models for pattern recognition and data analysis.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
- Experience with Python, Elixir, and JavaScript.
- Proven track record in a similar role, preferably in a high-growth tech environment.
