Solutions Engineer - API Development and Integration

Job Overview

As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our supply team, focusing on the integration and technical operations with our supply partners. This position is crucial for ensuring that our users have access to the best deals, often not available elsewhere.

Responsibilities

• Manage End-to-End Integration Projects: You will oversee the integration of supply partners from start to finish. This involves coordinating with multiple teams and utilizing specific knowledge of Vio’s internal systems to ensure projects are delivered on time and with high quality.
• Operational Ownership: Daily operations will be under your management, aiming to improve operational KPIs and business performance. This includes tasks like mapping supplier data structures to Vio's data models, updating supplier APIs, and handling complex integration aspects such as requests consumption and rate distribution rules.
• Integration Maintenance and Growth: You will lead efforts to enhance the quality and robustness of integrations and push for continuous improvement.
• Efficiency Improvements: Discover new needs, define and implement new processes, and specify requirements for new tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Technical Communication and Support: Maintain ongoing technical communication with partners and support in growing their relationships.

Who You Are

• Experienced Professional: With over 5 years in the tech industry, ideally as a Technical Product Owner/Manager, Technical/Engineering Project Manager, or a similar role in high-performing teams.
• Technical Expertise: A solid technical background, preferably with a BSc or MSc in Science, Engineering, or another technical field, or experience as a developer/engineer.
• Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage complex technical projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Analytical and Action-Oriented: Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to prioritization, with a bias towards action.
• Collaborative Communicator: Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, capable of working effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Problem Solver with a Commercial Mindset: Passionate about solving problems and optimizing for efficiency, focused on outcomes that lead to more happy customers and commercial impact.
