Job Overview
Join Oracle as an Autonomous Database Engineer, where you will be at the forefront of managing and deploying database solutions in a cloud environment. This role is pivotal in automating deployment, scaling, and management of databases using Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Responsibilities
- Deployment and Maintenance: Operate and maintain cloud database services, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Risk Management: Assess and communicate risks, prioritizing them to maintain service integrity.
- Automation and Monitoring: Implement automation and real-time monitoring systems to enhance service reliability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and improve stakeholder experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
- Experience with Linux and cloud computing architectures.
- Proficiency in Oracle Database technologies (RAC, Dataguard, ASM, RMAN).
- Development skills in Python, shell, SQL, and Terraform.
- Experience in DevOps and continuous delivery.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
