Job Description
ClassDojo is seeking a Senior Growth Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a growth engineer, you will work across the stack to build features and launch experiments that unlock opportunities and drive growth. You’ll work on production code from day one in a pair programming environment, deploy often, move quickly, and have your work used by millions of students, teachers, and parents around the world every day. In addition, you’ll help us further develop our high-quality engineering culture, one that values rapid iteration, collaboration, and best practices. Our code is heavily tested and deployed daily, and we’re serious about building a world-class engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute product experiments that drive significant scale in users and revenue.
- Drive technical tooling and process around experimentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product teams to create and maintain a world-class engineering culture.
- Work in a pair programming environment to ensure high-quality code and rapid iteration.
- Contribute to the development of features that enhance user experience and engagement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software experience.
- Proven track record in growth engineering and experimentation.
- Experience in scaling a company from 10 to 100m+ active users.
- Ownership mindset with comfort in responsibility and accountability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and get things done.
- Passion for education and making an impact on millions of kids' lives.
- Experience with React, Node, MongoDB, MySQL, and DevOps, especially on AWS.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with large-scale consumer internet companies.
- Experience in a distributed company with significant hours overlap with the Americas time zones.
