About The Role
Anthropic is seeking a product-minded engineer to enhance the developer experience for the Anthropic API. This role involves building tools that accelerate developers from idea to deployment, leveraging Claude to improve API usage, and collaborating with product teams to integrate Claude's capabilities into developer workflows.
Responsibilities
- Develop frontend and backend solutions to help developers bring applications to production.
- Collaborate with partner teams to ensure new product features are seamlessly integrated into the developer console.
- Use product sense to propose and implement improvements to the developer experience.
- Work with researchers to understand new model capabilities and design unique products that maximize the use of the Anthropic API.
Qualifications
- 7-10+ years of experience in building production full-stack software with a focus on usability.
- Strong communication skills and user empathy.
- Expertise in modern web development stacks (e.g., React, Next.js).
- Demonstrated strong product mindset and focus on iterative product development.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with React and frontend frameworks.
- Experience with REST APIs.
- Experience building products for developers.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $300,000 — $405,000 USD annually.
- Equity: Significant equity component for eligible roles.
- Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with 4% matching, 22 weeks of paid parental leave, unlimited PTO, education and wellness stipends, daily lunches and snacks, and relocation support.
Logistics
- Workplace Type: Hybrid, with an expectation to be in the office at least 25% of the time.
