Join Gryps as a Software Engineer
Gryps is seeking a talented Software Engineer to help design, develop, and improve our "Connect Platform". In this role, you will work with a small team and play a key part in automating data and document ingestion across diverse construction-related systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with other software engineers, actively participating in brainstorming and planning sessions and contributing to daily code development and reviews.
- Leverage your expertise to build robust RPA, API, and DB pipelines.
- Provide troubleshooting and support for existing pipeline runs in customer accounts, ensuring seamless operation and customer satisfaction.
- Expand and enhance existing microservices, aligning them with the overarching product vision.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 0-2 years of professional Software Engineering experience, with a proven history of impactful contributions.
- Proficiency in Python, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of industry best practices and coding standards.
- Familiarity with AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, S3, and DynamoDB.
- Experience with web technologies, including Browsers, HTML, HTTP, REST, and APIs.
- Understanding of browser automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Puppeteer, enabling seamless data handling.
Nice to Have
- Experience with advanced web scraping techniques, particularly circumventing bot detection mechanisms like CAPTCHA, user behavior analysis, JavaScript challenges, etc.
- Prior experience working with Microservices Architectures.
