Job Overview
As an Engineer Vuurleiding en Geschut, you will leverage your technical expertise to enhance complex sensor and weapon systems. Working as a civilian for the Ministry of Defence, you will indirectly contribute to the prosperity, peace, and security of the Netherlands and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Structured Maintenance: You will be responsible for the structured maintenance of subsystems or functions within the Directie Materiële Instandhouding (DMI).
- Product Evaluations: Conduct necessary product evaluations concerning cost, availability, and reliability.
- Advisory Role: Provide expert advice on new construction projects, staff requirements, investments, and maintenance plans.
- Testing and Improvement: Develop and execute technical and functional tests, and propose improvements to technical systems or functions.
- Program Management: Manage international ISS programs related to sensor and weapon system installations.
Qualifications
- Education: A completed HBO degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, initiative, creativity, and customer orientation.
Benefits
- Salary: Scale 9, with a minimum of €3,600 and a maximum of €5,000 gross per month.
- Work Hours: 38 hours per week.
- Location: Den Helder, Noord-Holland.
