Overview
Nova is seeking a Senior Backend Python Developer to join our dynamic team at Dcycle, where we are committed to building the best environmental analysis engine. Our mission is to empower businesses to take control of their sustainability in an easy and smart way, leveraging technology and the best team.
Responsibilities
- Develop the best in-class platform with a direct impact on Sustainability solving the user's needs while decreasing the level of CO2 with every line of code you write.
- Be very close to the user (our clients) understanding what needs to be done together with the rest of the product team.
- If you find something that is not working or that could be better, we expect you to fix it or propose a way to enhance it.
Requirements

- Fluent in written & spoken English.
Technical Skills
- Degree in Software Engineering, Informatics, Computer Science, Statistics or an equivalent technical field.
- At least 4 years of experience in:
- Programming languages: Python
- PostgreSQL
- AWS
- Clear Understanding of Object Oriented Programming Principles
- Knowledge of Pattern Designs when building solutions
- Version control (git)

- FastAPI
- Ability to build software that scales over time, in both performance and maintainability.
- Good software writer. Not only do we want you to solve problems, but we also want to understand your solutions.
