About the Role
As a Senior Pricing Analyst at Bolt, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our marketplace pricing strategy. You will be directly responsible for conducting and executing global pricing audits, collaborating closely with the product development team to build and validate pricing analytical tools, and training growth analysts in pricing methods.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute global pricing audits, from data gathering and analysis to pricing strategies and price configuration proposals for each market.
- Collaborate with market growth analysts and country teams to validate proposals from pricing audits and ensure deployment.
- Lead market growth analysts in conducting and analyzing A/B tests to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies.
- Train growth analysts in the pricing frameworks, playbooks, and tools developed by the pricing and product team.
- Analyze competitor pricing, market trends, and customer engagement to maximize our value proposition for both riders and drivers.
- Analyze the usage patterns for various pricing product features, identify key levers for further improvements, and assist in the creation of business cases for new developments.
- Perform post-assessment of pricing decisions to ensure healthy tracking of the desired results.
- Maintain thorough and concise documentation for tracking all decisions and post assessments.
- Work side-by-side with the product analytics team to experiment with new pricing changes and validate forecasting models for impact prediction.
About You
- BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
- At least 4 years of experience in an analytical role dealing with large volumes of data.
- Experience in consulting, pricing/discount strategy, and/or on-demand services is a plus.
- Proficient in SQL and Excel. Experience with Python or R is a plus.
- Experience with BI tools and data visualization like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Strong collaboration skills with excellent communication abilities in English.
