Your Role

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for managing all the data collected by Mediahuis Radio. You will provide relevant data and reports for both policy-making and operational purposes. You will analyze data from various sources, including the National Media Research (NMO), Nielsen, Google Analytics, and Triton Webcast Metrics. Based on these analyses, you will provide insights and recommendations to different internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, Programming, and Management.

You will inform and advise Marketing, Programming, and Management through your self-conducted market research and the development of knowledge databases around target audiences. With this information, you will make recommendations on topics such as payoffs, music mixes, potential advertisers, and more. You will use the available data to advise your colleagues and come up with initiatives that can help the organization grow.

You will collaborate with sales to identify what makes Mediahuis Radio unique and what sets us apart. You will proactively seek opportunities for advertisers by unlocking the right data from internal and external sources and converting them into concrete insights, strategies, and propositions through thorough analyses. Additionally, you will be a sparring partner for commercial insights for management, sales, and other stakeholders.

What You Bring

• Commercial, proactive, and independent mindset
• HBO working and thinking level
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
• Passion for data and experience with (multi)media research
• Strong analytical skills and good communication skills to present your output and advice clearly to colleagues
• Proficiency in Dutch, both spoken and written
• Knowledge of Google Analytics, Nielsen, Microsoft Power BI, and Triton Webcast is a plus
• Experience and affinity with media/radio is a plus
